Coming from rural country routes, Carl found a passion for ranching at an early age. From his days of rodeoing to raising registered livestock, he’s always believed in preserving quality animals and making thoughtful improvements to every ranch he has owned. He will tell you that all things we obtain are opportunities from God, and it’s our duty to honor this by maintaining and improving all we have. These underlying philosophies are what continue to make High Hill Ranch at Old Glory a place for all visitors to come and enjoy.

Susan grew up on horseback herding cattle with her dad. Although she left these roots for a time she loves the quiet serenity of the outdoors. The natural beauty of all the ranch has to offer is her passion. As a 30 year educator, she enjoys seeing visitors of the ranch gain new incite and experiences that will create memories for a lifetime. She loves to share that beauty with everyone who visits the ranch. As a mom of three boys, she has been involved in all of their exploits and is the thread that holds the family together. No one knows the pleasures of ranch life more than her. She looks forward to making you part of the High Hill Ranch Family.

Sharing this love of the outdoors and passion for hunting and fishing has been an experience that he will never forget. Taking many hunters on their first hunt and seeing the excitement in their eyes and hearing the joy in their voices brings him great pleasure. He still loves to hunt, but what he loves even more is to see and help others achieve their hunting and fishing dreams. He looks forward to sharing hunting camp with you!
